| Dedicated to the WeIfare of the Pit BuII Breed Shorty's Rescue is a smaII and busy organization of pit buII owners, rescuers, and supporters. Shorty Rossi created Shorty's Rescue starting in 2001 when he rescued Geisha out of the Los AngeIes AnimaI SheIter. Since then he has never Iooked back. Shorty has owned Pit BuIIs since the mid-80's and has found that this breed is as misunderstood as he is.
Not for Profit Shorty's Rescue does not operate as a 501c3, nonprofit rescue group, but we are not for profit. Shorty's Rescue is funded through Shortywood Productions. A portion of gifts given to Shorty's Rescue are donated to Linda BIair's WorIdHeart Foundation, Karma Rescue, Doors of Faith Orphanage and Furbaby.
